BBN Win-Win Community Leadership Plan
BBN’s 5-3-1 Community Success Methodology is a practical plan developed by business to mobilise the community to effectively address unemployment that leads to crime. BBN builds 5 Critical Bridges that effectively connects the 3 Essential Community Stakeholders in a way that enables all to work together as “1” while inspiring, encouraging and supporting entrepreneur development on a growing scale.
Starting with our youth, BBN focuses on many more becoming job creators instead of job seekers while guiding them to mature as people of great value. By implementing the BBN Plan we see our business community playing a purposeful, innovative and professional role that will in time inspire, guide and coach many more to become job creators, people of value, role models as well as community leaders able to take on the challenges of the future. Slowly but surely a solid foundation and leadership platform would become increasingly visible as we gather momentum to a point where perceptions become much more positive and all begin to say Yes I Can!
5 Critical Bridges
5 Critical Bridges are necessary to grow a unified community where all work together to inspire and support many more of our youth to become successful entrepreneurs and future job creators while growing as people of value. This is of absolute necessity if we are ever to generate sufficient employment creation that eventually works to reduce crime.
The 5 Critical Bridges listed below are fundamental to the success of the BBN Initiative in any community. These bridges, are in effect, practical leadership solutions, that will begin to fill the leadership void within communities as BBN gathers momentum and membership of BBN Go ProActive Businesses and BBN Community Action Partners grow.
- A Vision that synergises with the aspirations of as many as possible. The vision of BBN is to build the bridges towards a Safe, High Employment and Prosperous community.
- A Practical Plan able to achieve the vision. Our practical plan is the Yes I Can Initiative focused on inspiring a generation and eventually a nation of job creators.
- A Platform that all can get involved at the level of their choice and be made to feel that they are busy making an effective difference. This will happen more and more as the BBN - Yes I Can Initiative gathers momentum. In this respect our BBN Business Liaison Executives, BBN Go ProActive Business Members and BBN Community Action Partners play a very important role.
- Leadership. Able, experienced and passionate. We are making good headway in this respect, employing the right people at the right time as we roll out. These are men and women who strongly identify with the vision and plan of BBN and are working towards BBN’s success for the whole community, as their personal lifetime goal.
- Effective Communications with all involved to maintain a high level of motivation, interest and effort. Through this publication, online, the media and our growing membership we are keeping all abreast of our progress and growing the word of mouth, critical for BBN’s community-wide success.
3 Essential Stakeholders
Building the bridges of goodwill, understanding and support between the business community, the general public and our youth is an effective way of implementing the BBN 5-3-1 Community Success Plan in which all feel they have ownership through effective business leadership that leads the way to definite and worthwhile results. In gaining the willing involvement of these three stakeholders, we had to work in ways that continuously addresses their needs and concerns so that the bridges connecting them grows and strengthens. At the same time we had to ensure a win-win approach so that there were definite benefits for all involved. See pages 12 & 15. Within a few short months of launching BBN, we have in excess of 100 BBN Go ProActive Business Members and 1,000 BBN Community Action Partners and these numbers are growing daily.
- BBN enables Business to play a proactive leadership role in the community focused on addressing the needs of job creation while rewarding them as a BBN Preferred Supplier by encouraging the public to support BBN Go ProActive Business Members.
- As a Member of the Public our request is that you support the businesses that are working with BBN to inspire and support a generation of job creators as one way of addressing unemployment and reducing crime. The business community invites you to join us to make our community where all know that they have a future and a hope, in particular our children and youth.
- Our Youth. Through our Yes I Can Practical Plan and the 5-Mountain Entrepreneur Development System our goal is to help our youth:
- Make the right choices that is life building and not life destroying.
- Grow as people of value and good character by adopting and living according to worthwhile core values and ethics.
- Become job creators instead of job seekers. This will involve inspiring, encouraging and growing their full potential, purpose and passion and then helping them over the bridge towards business success.
- Grow as 2-Tier Entrepreneurs (Business + Social) so that they become both business and community role models and leaders.
In this way prepare our youth to take on the challenges of the future with confidence in their own success and their role in the community as they work towards continuing the work of building strong bridges of goodwill, understanding and support between all stakeholders.
