BBN Role Players – Developing a ‘Bridge Building Community’

BBN has developed a practical plan in which all can make a difference, at the level of their choice to achieve a ‘Bridge Building Community’. There is much to be done to achieve this goal for our communities. All can use the power of their influence to make a definite difference through BBN.

The following are just some of the ways:

  1. BBN Community Bridge Builder (CBB).On registration Community Bridge Builders receive a loyalty card that does have benefits. This will be added to as BBN grows. CBB’s receive regular updates and are part of a growing group of businessmen/women and members of the public who support BBN’s embraceable vision, action mission and practical plan for their community and eventually South Africa. By keeping it win-win we ensure growing interest and sustainability.
  2. BBN Go ProActive Business Members. Business is invited to address a social responsibility while benefiting from the business and community partnership that BBN will lead and drive within the greater community. In this respect our Community Liaison Executives (CLE’s) play an important leadership role.
  3. BBN Community Change Makers. Members of the public and business who are already BBN Community Bridge Builders and BBN Go ProActive Business Members but would like to become more involved in small or large ways, in growing BBN’s practical plan within the community. In this respect we also harness under-utilized and offered resources and direct these resources where they are needed the most.
  4. BBN Yes I Can – 5 Mountain Trainers: Businessmen/women and members of the public who offer their time to become trainers of the BBN Yes I Can - 5 Mountain Learner Intervention Programme. They are pivotal to the success of BBN in their community as they change the lives and grow the job creation ability of our learners and eventually the unemployed.
  5. BBN Community Liaison Executives (CLE’s). They introduce the vision, mission and practical plan to business and general public, within their community. They build a business and general public partnership in preparation of supporting the practical plan, initially at one of the poorest schools and eventually to all the schools in their community. There is a strict personal criterion to become a Community Liaison Executive. We believe that throughout South Africa there are men and women who have the right attributes and the passion, waiting for the plan. They will be part of a network of like-minded men and women who share a common desire, to see their community contribute positive towards achieving a safe, high employment and prosperous South Africa. It is also an exciting opportunity for them to generate income while doing good.
  6. BBN Community Pioneers:These are exceptional individuals who play an exemplary and leadership role in their community.
