Operation Joe Slovo Park Youth, Milnerton

19 Learners of the Sinenjongo High School, Joe Slovo Park, Milnerton have been selected to be developed as young entrepreneurs through the BBN – Yes I Can Programme. Five of the 19 represented their class at a special BBN Business Network meeting hosted by Mitsubishi Motors Paarden Eiland.

At this meeting local businessmen and women heard first hand from the principal of Sinenjongo High School about the challenges the young learners face growing up in a limited resource community.

BBN, with the support of the business and larger community will begin the process of preparing these young learners to become successful businessmen and women, not only in their own community but also in the larger economy of Blaauwberg.
