Progress Report
Elkanah House, High School, Table View Class of 2008
Some feedback from the learners that received their Mountain 1 & 2 (Bronze and Silver Award)
Megan Castle: I know I am on my way to becoming a successful entrepreneur with good values and excellent life skills. BBN is helping me climb the right mountain, making the right choices and developing my potential, purpose and passion. I loved the practical assignments and meeting members of the business community.
Jarrod Eder: I enjoyed all the sections of Mountain 1 but the parts that stood out and made me think was: Making the Right Choices in life, Setting and Achieving Definite Goals, the SWOC Analysis, establishing Sound Core Values and Ethics and Handling Setbacks. All in all, Mountain 1 was a great start to the programme.
Jason van Wyk: I enjoyed learning about the different mountains and because the Mountain System is so practical, I was able to begin applying them immediately to my life. What I also liked is that it did not relate to the way the school taught things and had a definite and real business approach which I thoroughly enjoyed doing. Connecting with the business community and the breakfast award was a highlight of the project which we all enjoyed.
Kieran Mulligan: I enjoyed learning new practical things about being an entrepreneur. I enjoyed the SWOC Analysis because it showed me what I needed to do in the immediate and longer term to become a successful entrepreneur. Mountain1 has all the building blocks necessary to put a solid foundation in place that will help anyone to become a successful 2-Tier Entrepreneur. I am thoroughly enjoying BBN!
Tamara Delle Donne: I have discovered that I am positive, open minded and creative. I learnt from the practical assignments that I like designing things which would help me in marketing. I am diligent, hardworking and organised. I enjoyed learning new things and growing a 'Bank Vault Mind'. Mountain 1 taught me that I could achieve anything I put my mind to and with BBN's partnership with businessmen and women in our community, I will be successful!
Mikal van Dyk: Mountain 1 has helped me discover my God-given potential and purpose. I know that anything is possible if I am willing to work hard and work smart. I understand that Desires + Choices + Actions + Con-sequences = My Life. I am very glad that at my young age I am with right people that will help me make the best of my life. I want to achieve Gold and qualify as a BBN Junior Business Member.

Learners who achieve the Mountain 3 level are awarded the M3C - Mountain 3 Conquered Award a made a “BBN Junior Business Member”.
